Staff Nurse Requirment 2024 – Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Basic B.Sc (Nursing) degree from institutions recognized by the Indian Nursing Council / Gujarat Nursing Council, or
- General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from recognized institutions.
- A Diploma or Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) with at least 10 years of service in State Government or Panchayat Service.
Candidates with B.Sc (Nursing) or GNM are eligible for age relaxation as per government rules, but age must not exceed 45 years. A “No Objection Certificate” from the current office must be submitted.
Permanent registration with the Gujarat Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife is mandatory at the time of application. Registration numbers must be indicated in the application form.
Knowledge of both Gujarati and Hindi is required.
